In tribute to Adrian Shooter, CBE
MTR UK joins the rail industry in mourning the passing of railway legend, Adrian Shooter CBE, who died on 13 December 2022 following a courageous fight with Motor Neurone Disease. Adrian was not only a highly respected industry trailblazer and leader, but a close friend and personal mentor to our CEO, Steve Murphy.
Paying tribute to the late transport executive, Steve said: “Adrian was a remarkably talented man, who it was my enormous privilege to work for, learn from, and call my friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, yet his legacy will continue to live on and inspire us all.”
