MTR UK and Sellar, working together with Network Rail, are presenting further details of our proposed upgrades to transform Liverpool Street station to create a world-class transport hub with a commercial destination and new public amenities.

MTR supports ‘My Mummy is a Train Driver’ book launch

MTR, in collaboration with several Train Operating Companies (TOCs) and Freight Operating Companies (FOCs), has been proud to be part of the production of the latest educational book published by Butterfly Books.  

Entitled ‘My Mummy is a Train Driver,’ the children’s book aims to challenge gender bias and change perceptions of who can become a train driver.  We’re delighted to share the highlights of the November book launch.

Creating a landmark destination: Liverpool Street station

On 22-23 November 2022 we shared our initial proposals with the public to create a landmark destination for millions of station users and the local community at Liverpool Street station.

Public Exhibition: A new fully accessible world-class station at no cost to passengers

MTR UK and Sellar, working together with Network Rail, are proposing to upgrade Liverpool Street station to create a landmark seven-day-a-week destination for passengers and the local community.

We look forward to sharing our initial proposals with the public as part of the formal consultation exercise ahead of an anticipated planning application submission in 2023.
