Entitled ‘My Mummy is a Train Driver,’ the children’s book aims to challenge gender bias and change perceptions of who can become a train driver.  We’re delighted to share the highlights of the November book launch.

In celebration of the recent launch of the book ‘My Mummy is a Train Driver’ – we spoke with several leaders who shared their insights about its significance as part of the wider strategy to effect positive change in equality, diversity and inclusion across the rail industry.  A special thank you to Claire Mann, Managing Director of South Western Railway, Andrew Haines, Chief Executive of Network Rail and Jaqueline Starr, CEO of Rail Delivery Group, for their valuable contributions to this video.

On 22-23 November 2022 we shared our initial proposals with the public to create a landmark destination for millions of station users and the local community at Liverpool Street station.
